PopTrace data deletion
You can ask us to delete identifiable optional diagnostic data from PopTrace for Android. PopTrace has no user accounts, and you do not need to create one to make a request.
1. Send a deletion request
- Email [email protected] with the subject PopTrace data deletion.
- Tell us whether your request concerns optional cloud diagnostics, local data on your device, or both.
- If available, include the app version, the approximate time you used PopTrace and any relevant non-sensitive identifier you already have. These details are optional. You do not need to find or send an internal Firebase identifier.
Do not send passwords, sensitive window records, screenshots or typed content. We use your email address and the details you choose to send to assess and respond to your request. We may ask for information needed to match and verify the request.
2. Optional cloud diagnostics
We receive, verify and process deletion requests for optional diagnostic data that we can identify and control, using available provider controls and applicable requirements. This may include Analytics app-interaction and lifecycle events, recording/capture workflow categories and counts, bounded duration values, crash and ANR reports, technical stack traces, device/app information, installation or app-instance identifiers, and approximate location inferred by Analytics from network addresses.
An email address alone may not identify an installation. Some historical records may not be identifiable or matchable to your request. We will explain what we can identify and any limits on processing your request; sending an email does not automatically identify or erase all historical records.
Some Analytics data is also used by Google for its own product-improvement purposes under its independent-controller terms. Our request process cannot promise deletion of all data used independently by Google or immediate removal of every copy. See the Android Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
3. Retention and limits
The linked Analytics property retains event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months. New user activity resets the user-data retention period. These settings do not apply to most standard reports based on aggregated data and are not a maximum lifetime for all data processed by Google. Aggregated reports may remain.
Google states that Crashlytics retains crash stack traces, extracted minidump data and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems. This does not set the retention of separately exported copies. These provider retention settings are separate from a deletion request and are not a promised deadline for handling your request.
4. Local data on your device
Saved window-history captures stay on your device and are not uploaded through PopTrace's diagnostic event code. Use Clear history in PopTrace to stop recording and remove saved captures. Uninstalling PopTrace removes its app-private data. We cannot remotely clear data on your device.
Turning diagnostics off stops new PopTrace usage/error events and requests SDK collection to stop; automatic crash-reporting changes fully take effect after restarting PopTrace. Turning diagnostics off, clearing history or uninstalling the app does not automatically delete data already sent to Google.
5. Website visits
Cloudflare delivers and protects this website and processes connection, request and security information. Its Web Analytics beacon measures visits, referrers and browser performance. Browser security checks may run and may store a cf_clearance cookie. This website processing is separate from optional Android diagnostics and is not controlled by the app's diagnostics switch. See website processing details.
